Making moving pictures.

I made skate videos until it somehow turned into a career. I’m a director, technologist and designer, working in Cupertino. When I first came here, I was producing and directing events for high-profile on-campus venues.

Before my corporate era, I was a hired gun, directing and editing internal and external content for Apple, Google, and Twitter (back when it was Twitter). I was also entrusted to produce and direct work for Hollywood directors, Universal Music Group, Amazon Studios YouTube, Bear Grylls, ESPN and countless startups. My middle school career aptitude test said I should be a cake decorator.

In past lives, I designed broadcast news graphics, toured with a band and cooked omelettes.

For three years, I created 3D product renderings and layouts for Federico Viticci’s celebrated iOS reviews. I'm not allowed to do these anymore.

Music in the desert, Tokyo in 60 hours, and other sensible decisions.

I was making videos for the internet in 2004, and podcasting in 2005. It was the wild west of "content creation" (we did not call it that), and I loved every minute of it. Sometimes those old habits bubble back up.
